CONCEPT:

pyaar

Type 1 : Saccha pyaar / true love

No! Don’t equate it to the romantic version of “true love” you see in movies.

Gist: This is a more realistic concept ..about the truth of life . And that is lust, money, etc.,

For the boys: Well!! From a boyโ€™s perspective , saccha pyaar = lust/attraction

For the girls: And of course from a girl’s perspective saccha pyaar = paisa-earning potential !!!

Trivia: The western world is immensely well reputed for touching the first level and breaking the relationship! Esp the british!

——————

Type 2: Senti pyaar

Gist: The name says it all. You dont walk out of her within 30min of making out

For the boys: The emotional guinea pigs! They are always victims of this one, esp. when it comes to first love.

For the girls: Generally assumed to be the masters of this one.

Trivia: The ladies fall into this faster than the boys and get out of it faster than the boys. And justify it all by saying “Life goes on… you can commit suicide if you want … but my baap will get me a rich NRI”

——————————-

Type 3: Shaadi pyaar/ Wedlock level love

Gist: Extrapolation of type 2. They crave for each other enough to get married.

For the boys: A boy generally sticks to type 1. But if he goes onto type 2, he will almost definitely go onto type 3.

For the girls: A girl who hangs on through type 1 will probably go onto type 2. When it comes to promotion to type 3,unless the girl is an angel, there is most of the times a clash either due to:

  1. Boy never graduated from type 1
  2. Girl is a bitch! (a highly biased example: My ex-gf!! )

Trivia: Instances of either the guy turning heel (WWE lingo !) or going on a rampage of rebounds are prevalent due to this. But if this type works, we do have a happily ever after scenario!

—————————–

Type 4: Ultimate pyaar/ Untimely love

Gist: It lasts beyond time. Even after a split/ death, it is remembered as the only significant essence of life. Many wish it was true! But even in our holy scriptures, Lord Rama (the Hindu God) had it for his wife Sita, but failed to live upto it ๐Ÿ˜ฆ .

For the boys: Boys who even reach type2 fantasize about their love being type 4

For the girls: They are incapable of it.

Trivia: Unfortunately, A survey taken from among 100 men [35 in type 3 , and 8 already married] confirmed with a 100/100 perfect score that the funda about girls and type 4 is true ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

  1. You forgot to mention that if the girl’s baap can’t get her an NRI, she’ll be as despo to get to level three as all those graduating now (including me) are despo for a job, the guy not graduating from level 1 notwithstanding.

And yeah, the guys who reach level 2 always do think it’s level 4. Poor suckers.

Vaise I would like to give the girls a chance to be capable of level 4. Maybe they just have too many limitations here in India, but would otherwise have worked fine in a more liberal society. And your survey of men about women reaching level 4 – is that really for real?

Anyways this was a nice entertaining read. Thanks.

  2. hehe once again baba once again ! Rebellius la perfectum ๐Ÿ˜‰

  3. Dear Aniket,

Girl gettning despo for a baap-setup NRI doesn’t classify as love as it is not her choice !
Anyway for me, it is just type 1 – the love for deep pockets

Reg level 4, NO ONE is capable of it.
Guys live in its myth ๐Ÿ˜› while girls are more ‘practical’ and hence, accept that it is not possible! That is what i meant

And yes the authenticity of this survey is flawless ๐Ÿ˜€

  4. @ joka lad:
hmm i noticed of late you stopped critiquing me .Is it you losing your touch or am i becoming better ๐Ÿ˜‰

  5. not fair! I wasn’t invited ๐Ÿ˜

  6. What i learned from my ex-experience that all girls have a split personality. They appear something else and they are something else when you know them properly.

Best way to find out either a girl is suitable for you or not is to go for a shopping with her and let her speak all the time. Their true personalities come out like anything. If you are comfortable with her thoughts while shopping, she is for you otherwise forget about her, she is a ****ing whore.

I never understood why boys suffer always.

  7. @ harish:
    whoa :O

  8. @ joka lad:
is that question for the prev. post ?

    @ ‘a boy’:
    Acknowledged !
Henceforth this comment shall be known as “the shopping contingency corollary” ๐Ÿ™‚

  9. Hey, I know this guy Rahul Ajmani. He used to work at M$, IDC

  11. hmm… some serious issues with the other half… still not resolved … eh ??

  12. @ sultan:

    @ dan:
    ๐Ÿ™‚

    @ @nks:
no specific targetting intended ..i just wrote in a light hearted flow ๐Ÿ™‚
But hey! You must understand that I also criticized boys (including myself) ๐Ÿ™‚ ..so no woman hating shit here !

  13. ho ho ho… you should get ajmani to read this :S

  14. OMG..
I never thought you have such a cheap impression on girls! On the lighter side, It was fun reading this.

  15. There is another kind of love, I guess. The kind that is shown by Rahul Mahajan kind of hippies. The loved one doesn’t matter, it maybe a babe or baba(:P) or even a car.
The sex/love/marriage is not a priority, but power-display reins the essence of love.

advanced disclaimer: maybe you will say that doesn’t qualify for love. But if love for money/power(girls) or love for sex(boys) can qualify, I believe this qualifies without any argument ๐Ÿ˜‰

  16. @ z3phyr:
    ๐Ÿ˜‰

    @ anupama:
I repeat i love (all pun intended) girls !!!
This study is just objective …the unfavourable results for girls is maybe because of the crowd selection (do i hear someone shouting “covering covering !!” ๐Ÿ˜›

    @ sukesh:
    type 1 ๐Ÿ™‚
